The Miami Book Fair, held each November in downtown Miami at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, is one of the largest and most celebrated literary events in the United States. Typically spanning about eight days (often in mid-to-late November), the fair brings together hundreds of acclaimed authors from around the world for readings, panel discussions, and book signings, alongside workshops and educational programs for all ages. Its signature weekend Street Fair transforms the area into a lively open-air marketplace filled with booksellers, live music, food vendors, and family-friendly attractions, including the popular Children’s Alley. Known for its diverse programming—including English, Spanish, and international voices—the event attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and offers a dynamic blend of culture, storytelling, and community engagement.
